ExamHand by miller&associates
Since 1988, ExamHand is the brand trusted by grain warehouse agencies to perform examination of grain warehousemen and grain dealers. In the beginning, each agency had their own customized version of ExamHand. Since the Summer of 2002, the authorities have used a common ExamHand platform. 11 State Licensing Authorities and hundreds of grain elevator locations use ExamHand brand products every day.
In the Spring of 2008, our eZam product was introduced. eZam is a completely paperless examination, review, and archive solution that handles multiple projects simultaneously instead of one-at-a-time.
Over the years, the grain industry has recognized the value of doing their own measured inventory along side the their DPR figures. This has led to the sales growth of our ExamNet product to serve grain companies of all sizes from single site to multi-national corporation.
With all the differing laws, definitions, regulations and grains it would seem impossible that ExamHand could serve them all. But it's true. The secret lies with the Service Packs and scripting technology. While the underlying software is absolutely common, agencies are empowered to create highly unique business rules, reports and other information that serves the specific needs of their jurisdiction.
Both eZam and ExamNet are part of the ExamHand Unified System which brings to the industry:
1. More reliable, common, and interchangeable software platform.
2. Lower annual software support costs
3. Authorities are empowered to make their own business rule changes via Service Packs.
4. Uniform set of software operating functions
5. Ability to directly load AAWCO EDI and ExamNet files from warehousemen and conversely, to be able to deliver to a warehouseman, their bin chart data in ExamNet format.
